Ok, we're here at the airport....

Our flight has been delayed an hour...........we are nervously waiting to board........OH YEA! They just announced boarding...............IT'S SHOWTIME.............

7/29 Sea Day
7/30 Palermo, Sicily
7/31 Naples, Italy (Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri)
8/1 Olbia, Sardinia
8/2 Citavecchia (Rome)
8/3 Sea Day
8/4 La Spezia
8/5 Marseille
8/6 Villefranche (Monaco)
8/7 Sea Day
8/8 Depression!

Monaco

Our final stop will be Villefranche with a visit to Monaco.

Marseille

While in Marseille, we will visit the Calanques of Cassis.

La Spezia

Our fifth and final Italian port is La Spezia.

Rome

One of the places we will visit will be to St. Peter's Cathedral.

Olbia

Our third stop is to the city of Olbia, Sardinia, where we'll visit the Maddalena Archipelago.

Capri

Palermo

Palazzo dei Normanni, one of the most beautiful Italian palaces and a notable example of Norman architecture, probably built over an Arab fortress. It houses the famous Cappella Palatina.

Less than 48 hours to go..........

ONE of us is now packed, the rest plan to finish up tomorrow and Friday! This has been the LONGEST week of my life! Our trip is almost here! I'll feel a lot better when we are heading to the airport at 2pm on Friday!

A couple more important items........

These items were packed to avoid using the stateroom supplies up.........if you happen to see any of us on an excursion, we will be willing share..........just look for the lime green ribbon attached to our bags..........

Final preparations are underway!

This is being packed to help us cool off in the warm Mediterranean climate. If any other travelers need a "spritz" we will be happy to accomodate them. Perhaps, this will help keep them out of the beautiful Italian fountains..........

Here we are! Tara, JoAnn, Tracy, Ken & Jessica are on our sixth Disney cruise! This is a picture of us on another cruise line last year! The excitement is about to begin!!

4 more days........

So ONE of us has packed.......soon the mayhem will ensue.........the family, 350 lbs. of luggage and 5 carry-ons in one vehicle...........

One week to go...............

We can hardly believe that our long wait is almost over! The first of our group on the DISboards is setting out today, for us, we have one week to go! So far the meds and toiletries are packed including the Charmin rolls and seat covers. As soon as the weekend ends, the clothes packing will be underway. The question, will I get all my outfits in a suitcase that only holds 50 lbs?

10 days to go.......

Well, we're at 10 days and counting...........still waiting to pack the clothes, etc.....at this point we're continuing to review the previous Med cruisers to revise our excursions.........the biggest concern right now is whether or not our luggage will make it to Barcelona.........we have a direct flight from Philadelphia so we're guardedly optimistic......

11 days to go.....

Okay, so all the cruise documents have arrived........we've booked our excursions, collected our euros.......it's almost time to pack.......one more summer weekend and then it's "crunch" TIME!!! Seriously, it's just around the corner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15 days to go................

Well, our first set of cruise documents have arrived...........our trip is almost here!! The suitcase is open, the online documents have been filled out and printed...............the euros have been picked up and the packing list has been printed (thanks Mary Jo!)

Two weeks and we will be on our way!!!

Weight Watchers Watch

17 days to go and it seems the whole family in on Weight Watchers in preparation.

Look for a family of 5 looking very hungry during the sail away party. Hopefully not wearing matching lime green T-shirts. EEEEEK
